CONTESTS: Four Christmases Advanced Screening
November 18th, 2008 · Posted by: Michelle Alexandria in Contests, MoviesIt’s been awhile since we had a screening, primarily due to the lack of anything interesting this fall. In this time of nothing but depressing news, I thought it was time to do another one – A Comedy. I don’t know about you, but Four Christmases looks like it’ll be a cure for the Winter, post election, bad economy blahs and we have 40 passes to the Washington, DC Advanced Screening. The Screening will be this Thursday night at 7pm (note the early start time) at Mazza. If you want to go, click this link and use the code ECLP2058, and print out the Admit 2 pass. It’s that simple. You don’t have to email me, beg and plead for the tickets, just be one of the first 40 and it’s youuuuurs!
In the comedy “Four Christmases,” Brad (Vince Vaughn) and Kate (Reese Witherspoon) are a happy, loving and normal couple. In order to stay that way, they have managed to avoid spending extended time with their decidedly abnormal families at all costs….especially during the holidays. This year’s plan was the same as always: make up a believable excuse to miss Christmas and instead head to sunny Fiji for a holiday week of relaxation and fun. But chance intervenes as bad weather has grounded all flights. When a news reporter covering the story catches Brad and Kate on camera, their cell phones start ringing. Caught red-handed! Their families know.
Goodbye Fiji, hello trouble! Brad and Kate are now forced to face their worst fears – visit all four of their divorced parents in one day and celebrate four Christmases. One house is tougher and more revealing than the next in a constant comedy of errors that will ultimately test the strength of their relationship. One thing for sure, it will be a Christmas they will never forget….no matter how hard they try. “Four Christmases” is directed by Seth Gordon (“The King of Kong”) and also stars Robert Duvall, Jon Favreau, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam, Tim McGraw, Kristin Chenoweth, Jon Voight and Sissy Spacek. The movie opens Wednesday, November 26th. Check out the trailer at movies.yahoo.com. And watch this space for info on our upcoming Yes Man screening. Again if you want one of our 40 passes click this link and use the code ECLP2058.
