I’m trying out a new commenting system on the site. This new system is a bit more robust than the old one. You can now upload video comments, create polls, rate each other’s
comments, view messages in a threaded view, follow your comments on other blogs and some other cool stuff. I’ve been looking for a way to improve the bland commenting system at we had before and was torn between using Intense Debate from WordPress and a system called Disqus. The reason I selected Intense Debate is because it gives me more control over everything and if I change my mind (What are the chances of that?) I can easily revert back to the old system without losing anything. Also the nice thing about this new system is that if I ever get around to launching the other sites that I have on the drawing board, then all of the comments will easily integrate with any new project I launch – in theory anyway and assuming I launch those projects on WordPress. So let me know what you think about the new system.
