Stargate: SG-1 – A Celebration of Ten Years and Two-Hundred Episodes! Season Ten Premieres as Solid as ‘Flesh and Blood’
July 14th, 2006 · Posted by: M R Reed in Announcements
In July 1997, Showtime used the promotional tagline of “When the Gate is open, the adventure begins!” for its new show, Stargate: SG-1. Almost nine years later, with nine seasons completed, a tenth season to begin airing, and numerous Emmy, Saturn, Gemini, and Leo nominations (and a couple of Saturn, Gemini, and Leo wins), the Gate is still open and the adventure is still going strong!
Like a number of different Science Fiction and Fantasy series from the last fifteen years, Stargate: SG-1 was a spinoff from a movie.
